Trafalgar House Pensions Administration Goes Live on IntelliPen

Trafalgar House Pensions Administration Limited (THPA) now has all four of the schemes under its administration running live on IntelliPen; a total of over 35,000 members. The schemes are a mixture of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution. Getting the schemes live included a complex data conversion process and the implementation of benefit calculations and workflows. Procentia’s integrated pensioner payroll system, IntelliPay, is also being used to pay over 15,000 pensioners each month.

THPA is making extensive use of IntelliPen’s integrated workflow functionality (IntelliCase) to automate and streamline its business processes. Further workflows will be implemented over the coming months. Configuration of a comprehensive member website will commence early next year, utilizing Procentia’s powerful IntelliSite content management tool, to implement the site much more quickly than with traditional methods and allowing THPA to maintain the site itself.

The new system has been implemented using a successful partnership arrangement between THPA and Procentia. Both parties have worked closely together on the project, with analysis, specification and project management work being shared. Now that the system is in place, THPA feels very confident that this key component of their service offering will fully play its part in winning new third-party administration business, as using the capabilities IntelliPen has given it another strategic as a differentiator between it and other third-party administration firms.
