Blue Sky Go Live on IntelliPen

5 November 2012 – Blue Sky, the non-profit organisation originally set up to provide pensions for employers operating in the electrical industry, has now gone live on IntelliPen. Procentia used its IntelliFeed data conversion and interfacing software to migrate Blue Sky’s existing member data from a Profund Classic system into IntelliPen. Using IntelliFeed allowed the data to be analysed and cleansed before being finally loaded into the new system.

The two schemes now running on IntelliPen consist of 18,000 member records which will be administered by a team of 10 administrators in Blue Sky’s Sidcup office.

Blue Sky was originally set up in 1988 as the JIB Pension Scheme. It has recently re-branded itself as Blue Sky and is now growing its business by offering its defined contribution trust-based pension scheme to industries outside the electrical industry.

Now IntelliPen is up and running, further workflows will be implemented to further automate and streamline Blue Sky’s business processes. An auto-enrolment project will also be shortly launched.
